Northeast Soccer Complex Ribbon Cutting on
Friday June 29th, 2012 at 7:00 PM
What?
Come join the Northeast Kansas City Chamber and the Board of Parks and Recreation as we open the new athletics fields in the old Northeast. We are also kicking off the Mayor’s Night Kicks tournament that will attract soccer players and fans from all over the city to the Northeast!
Why?
This event is an opportunity for Chamber members, friends, family, and prospective members, and the Community to have fun, get to know one another, celebrate and support the opening of this great new soccer field! Also:
You Can Play a Part:
The cost of upkeep and running the community athletic programs is not being covered by the city. Only a small portion of the park’s financial needs will be met through league and tournament registration fees, which are kept low to allow as many kids as possible to take part in the games. Donations and sponsorships are needed to support this park and these programs. Sponsorship information will be available at this Ribbon Cutting event.
When?
Time: Friday, June 29th, 2012 at 07:00 PM. Come earlier if you like and enjoy a free picnic from 4:30 – 7:00 pm. The Mayor’s Night Kicks games begin at 6:00 pm.
