2012 Membership Map will include area restaurants that will be participating in this year’s TASTE OF NORTHEAST.  Date for this new twist to last years International tour will be Saturday  Sept ___, 2012. Exact date to be set.     Location for the taste will be at the American Sons of Columbus.  We will offer shuttle tours of the area pointing out the locations of our restaurants, attractions, historic districts, parks and museums.  Tour will end with a dinner of the featured restaurants specialties at the  American Sons of Columbus on Independence Blvd.  Look for more details to follow.  Below is last years event.

Work is also being done to start a FOOD TRUCK RODEO Starting at the Colonnade located in Concourse Park.  We are partnering with Northeast Arts KC and their summer sunset concerts.   Food trucks will be parked along Gladstone Blvd at the Concourse from 6pm to 9 pm. Concerts are from 7pm to 9 pm. on the Third Saturdays in June, July,  and August .     Businesses interested in planning, promoting and participating in this food truck and Free entertainment venue are invited to contact the NE Chamber.

This annual event, held in the summer of each year, highlights the international flavor of Historic Northeast Kansas City.

Business participation in the Crawl map requires membership in the Northeast KC Chamber of Commerce. Chamber members are placed on the map and passport at no additional charge. Non-member Restaurant  businesses wishing to be plotted on the map can participate by signing up to provide their special entrees at the TASTE OF NORTHEAST Event.    Participation forms are being drawn up.    Additional packages of advertising/coupon opportunities are also available.
