“I Will Rise” follows the story of Christine C. McDonald, a survivor who was commercially exploited for 20 years and hear field experts who fight the horrific industry we call Human Trafficking. The film is 45 min. Dialogue with Director & Local Experts to follow. 2:00 pm – 2:45 pm

We have the Artwork of Hasna Sal, “LIVE IN LIGHT” Open on Sunday the 6th in advance of the movie screening. Located at the EGG, (Economic Growth Gallery) 2659 Independence Ave. KCMO 64124 . Open on Sunday the 6th between 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm in advance of the movie screening. The EGG is just West of Independence Blvd Christian Church. This is an exhibit celebrating the extraordinary lives of ordinary People. Inspired by stories of survivors of human trafficking and domestic abuse. Refreshments will be served. Artist Hasna Sal also has work in Independence Plaza Park. located on Independence Ave & Brooklyn Ave. North side of the park to see the NEW full park renovation and three public art glass panels. The park is just West of Independence Blvd Christian Church.
