Our Mission

The NEKC Chamber of Commerce, is the ‘go-to place’ for businesses in the Historic Northeast area. We provide the public with education, programs, and networking opportunities in order to grow into success.

We strive to be a financially sound, well-managed business association that helps enhance the quality-of-life and economic competitiveness of  Northeast Kansas City.

Through partnership and collaboration, our organization’s goal is to serve the diverse entrepreneurial, cultural, artistic, commercial, industrial, and civic interests of our community.

What We Do

  • Offer business classes (I.e. business 101, marketing, website development, etc.)
  • Create opportunities for businesses to come together, share their concerns, and boast about their successes.
  • Coordinate microloans, business programs, and lunch & learns.
  • Promote and market our business members.

The Chamber is the go-to place for Northeast businesses, a clearinghouse for collaborative problem solving.

It is the gatekeeper and advocate for plans and projects that generate economic and social vitality for Northeast Kansas City businesses, institutions, and neighborhoods.
