Bio. Jason Spreitzer is a seasoned public safety professional with over 25 years of experience, currently serving as a Fire Education Specialist and former Public Relations Officer for the Kansas City Fire Department. A occupational cancer survivor and advocate, he passionately champions first responder health, wellness, and safety. Jason is credentialed through CPSE as a CPC-PIO, and is APIO certified, and is actively part of the 2025 cohort for the newly evolved MPIO program now known as the Executive Public Information Officer (EPIO) Program. He has a Master of Science in Leadership from the University Arkansas Grantham and a bachelor’s in criminal justice with a minor in Peace Studies from Park University. Known for his servant leadership and expertise in public communication, he has developed innovative programs blending education, trust, and outreach. Jason’s dedication to this community and his faith inspires his mission to create lasting, positive change while leading with compassion.
