Meet the Muralists / Transforming the Indep. Ave. Truck Eating Bridge

Thanks to a KC Rebuild Grant the NEKC Chamber is moving forward in beautifying an infamous bridge with Creative Murals by local KC Artists.

All Artists are welcome to this luncheon along with the KC Business and Neighborhood Community.

You will have a chance to meet the four selected Artists that will be transforming the Independence Ave bridge into a visual spectacle instead of just a net for catching 12FT+ Trucks.

You will get a sneak peek of what is to come on the four unique walls. This is an on going project working with the City and the Railroad to make visual, lighting and safety improvements to this location. Murals on the 4 corners scheduled to be completed in early August.
