WIBO Spring Session
The KCMO CDE is currently recruiting participants for its spring session of Workshop in Business Opportunities (WIBO) 16-Week Workshop, How to Build a Growing Profitable Business.
The Workshop is ideal for people who are currently running a business or who plan to open a specific business in the next year (and already have a deep knowledge of the related industry). We provide a peer-based, interactive environment where participants cover ALL aspects of running a successful business over 16 comprehensive weeks. Case studies, peer discussion, mentorship and a proven curriculum help deliver results: after 5 years, over 54% of WIBO graduates are still in business, compared to a national average of just 20%.
The facilitated discussion format as well as a base of local volunteers (mostly made up of experienced, successful business owners) who help deliver the curriculum also set WIBO apart from other entrepreneurial training programs.
Interested business owners and entrepreneurs will be able to learn more about the curriculum, schedule, cost and scholarship opportunities at the information session on Wednesday, January 22nd, 4:00-5:00 p.m. at the KCMO CDE office located at 1900 Vine, Kansas City, Mo.
